Hurstville City Council has called for a Construction Tender for expansion of the existing Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre.

The Hurstville Aquatic Leisure was first opened to the public on Saturday, 2nd December 1995 with an official opening on Saturday, 9th by the then Mayor Peter Olah JP. Safe access for the work at height was provided by using a 58 metre truck-mounted Skylift platform. A telescopic crane was used to crane off the mast in sections, which were then lowered to the ground.
